BOSTON – Beginning a four-game home stand at Friedman Diamond, the Northeastern baseball team will turn its attention towards Rhode Island on Wednesday, March 27, when the Huskies welcome the Rams to Friedman Diamond for a 3 p.m. non-conference game.

• The road team between the Huskies and the Rams has won six consecutive series meetings, dating back to 2013.
 
• Northeastern and Rhode Island share one common opponent during the 2019 season: Missouri. The Huskies and the Rams combined to play four straight games against the Tigers from Feb. 21 to Feb. 24 at City of Palms Park in Fort Myers, Florida. NU won its game, 4-3, while Rhode Island lost two of its three games.
 
• Ian Fair enters Wednesday's midweek game after being named the CAA Player of the Week on March 25. Fair, who has hit .355 since making his 2019 debut on March 2, is riding a five-game hitting streak and has reached base safely during 12 consecutive games.
