BOSTON – Beginning a five-game week against non-conference opponents, the Northeastern baseball team will start by setting out for two regional foes when the Huskies make midweek appearances at UMass Lowell (Tuesday, April 30, 7 p.m.) and Bryant (Wednesday, May 1, 3 p.m.).
ALL-TIME AGAINST UMASS LOWELL
• Northeastern leads its all-time series against UMass Lowell, 20-7.
• The Huskies have won three of the teams' four head-to-head meetings since the River Hawks began their Division I reclassification process prior to the 2013-14 scholastic year.
• NU defeated UMass Lowell, during its last trip to LeLacheur Park on May 10, 2016.
Andrew Misiaszek started and struck out four batters across six innings as the Huskies went on to win, 7-2.
ALL-TIME AGAINST BRYANT
• Northeastern trails its all-time series against Bryant, 9-4.
• The Huskies' 2018 regular season win against the Bulldogs – a 10-3 victory at Friedman Diamond – marked their first series win since 2010, snapping a seven-game series losing streak.
• Northeastern is 1-4 all-time when opposing the Bulldogs at Conaty Park (named the Bryant Baseball Complex before 2012). The Huskies' lone win occurred on March 20, 2010, when Tony DiCesare's two-RBI single broke the game's 4-4 tie during the seventh inning, leading NU to the 7-4 victory.
