BOSTON -- The No. 6 Northeastern men's rowing team is heading across the country this weekend for a heavyweight matchup against some of the top rowing programs in the country. The Huskies will join defending national champion No. 2 Washington, No. 13 Stanford, and No. 18 Oregon State in Redwood Shores, California on Saturday and Sunday in a set of dual-style races.
 
The races will kick off Saturday, with Northeastern facing Washington in the early session. The 1V will start at 12:15 p.m., with the 2V following at 12:45 p.m. The 3V will start at approximately 1 p.m., and the V4+ will come about a half hour later at 1:30 p.m.
 
The Saturday late session will see the Huskies take on Oregon State, starting with the 1V at 6:15 p.m. The 2V and 3V will follow in approximately 30-minute intervals, before Northeastern again faces Washington in the V4+ at 7:30 p.m.
 
One last morning session will take place on Sunday, when the Huskies will race the Cardinal.
 
Northeastern is coming off of a strong opening weekend in which they took down Penn to retain the Burk Cup. First varsity and both second and third varsity edged out the Quakers in their races, with varsity four coming up just short in the final race.
