BOSTON – Beginning a four-game home stand at Cabot Center, the Northeastern women's basketball team will look to keep pace among the CAA leaders on Friday, Jan. 31, when the Huskies welcome College of Charleston to Boston. Friday's game will air live on FloHoops with coverage beginning at 7 p.m.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW
1. Series Edge:  Northeastern has won eight consecutive games against College of Charleston, compiling four straight regular season sweeps of the Cougars since the 2015-16 campaign. The Huskies have averaged 15.9 points per victory during their eight-game series winning streak, limiting the Cougars to 55.5 points per game during the stretch.

2. Sunday Takeaways:  Competing for its first-ever road victory at James Madison, Northeastern put up a fight against the first-place Dukes, inducing 18 turnovers – a tie for the third most that JMU has committed this season. The Huskies battled back from their 11-2 deficit to slide within two points of the Dukes during the second and third quarters, where NU combined to match JMU on the scoreboard, 32-32. Junior point guard Stella Clark logged 40 minutes of court time for the fourth time this season, finishing with 14 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two steals against the Dukes.

3. Offense, Defense:  While Northeastern ranks immediately behind College of Charleston in conference-only scoring offense, the Huskies hold the edge against the Cougars in league-only scoring defense. Contrary to NU keeping six of its seven CAA opponents below the 70-point threshold, Charleston has conceded an average of 80.8 points per its last five league outings. The Huskies' 3-point defense will be on high alert as the Cougars enter averaging 21.4 3-point field goal attempts this season.
