BOSTON - The Northeastern Huskies (13-13, 7-7 CAA) will begin their final road trip of the season at Delaware (19-8, 9-5 CAA) this Thursday night at the Bob Carpenter Center at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed on FloHoops.com.
HUSKIES LEAD CAA IN WINS OVER LAST EIGHT YEARS
Northeastern has won a league-best 85 games over the last eight seasons inside conference play. Trailing the Huskies are William & Mary with 82 wins and Hofstra at 78.
ROAD WARRIORS
The Huskies have been one of the best road teams in the CAA over the last three years. Northeastern is 16-9 over its last 25 road league games, second-best in the conference. Hofstra leads the way at 19-6, followed by the Huskies and then College of Charleston at 15-10.
THANKS FOR THE CHARITY
Northeastern leads the country with a .799 free throw percentage and has made 80 percent of its free throws in 17 of 26 games this season. The Huskies rank No. 19 in the country in three-point field goal percentage (.376) and No. 21 in field goal percentage (.475).
ROLAND RANKS FIFTH IN THE NCAA IN SCORING
Senior Jordan Roland continues to be one of the top scorers in the country. A native of Syracuse, N.Y., Roland leads the CAA with six 30-point scoring games and is currently No. 5 in the NCAA in scoring average (23.3). Roland reached 1,000 points in his Northeastern career in just 56 games and is currently 28th in school history with 1,103 points at NU (1,379 in his career).
