Boston, Mass. - Northeastern baseball is teaming up with Vs. Cancer to raise money and awareness for children battling cancer in the Boston area. The Huskies' fundraising efforts will culminate with the Vs. Cancer game on Saturday, April 25, when they host Towson at 1 p.m. at Friedman Diamond. The Huskies will have special promotional items at the game and a special postgame ceremony.
The ultimate goal is to raise at least $6,500 to help find a cure for pediatric brain tumors. Money raised will go to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute/Boston Children's Hospital "Butterfly Fund".
