BOSTON - Northeastern men's basketball adds four to its incoming recruiting class, announced by head coach
Bill Coen on Monday. Joining
Coleman Stucke (6-7, 220) as part of this year's class will be Notre Dame transfer
Chris Doherty (6-7, 240),
J'Vonne Hadley (6-6, 200),
Alexander Nwagha (6-8, 215) and
Jahmyl Telfort (6-7, 220).
The Huskies are just the fifth program in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) history to make three consecutive championship game appearances, winning the title in 2019. Northeastern is a league-best 11-4 in the CAA tournament since 2015, and have won a CAA-best 146 conference games since joining the league in 2005. Coach Coen is just nine wins shy of tying Jim Calhoun (1972-86) for the most wins by a head coach in program history. Coen ranks second all-time in CAA history with 163 wins in conference and postseason play.
