Northeastern Summer Baseball Notebook

BOSTON - After losing most of their spring season due to COVID-19, several Northeastern baseball players were able to compete in a few summer leagues and had outstanding seasons in the newly-formed Newport Collegiate Baseball League and The Futures Collegiate Baseball League. Scott Holzwasser was named Most Valuable Player of the Newport Collegiate Baseball League after batting .444, while incoming transfer Ben Malgeri was named Defensive Player of the Year in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.
Brandon Dufault, Ed Jarvis, Max Viera and Jared Dupere all helped lead the Nashua Silver Knights to the FCBL Championship.
