HARRISONBURG, Va. – Sophomore Caroline Sweeney scored her fourth goal of the season to lead the Northeastern field hockey team (3-7, 0-1 CAA) as they fell to James Madison (5-4, 1-0 CAA) 3-2 on Friday at the JMU Field Hockey Complex. 

• Sophomore Sarah Coyle (2) put the Huskies on the board off an assist by junior Lauren Rowe early in the second quarter, tying the game at 1-1.
• On a penalty corner, Sweeney deflected a shot from junior Cailin Hart to shorten James Madison's lead to 3-2 with a minute left in the game. 
• James Madison scored all three of their goals in the first half of the game. 

 
The Huskies will be back in action on Sunday as they take on CAA opponent William & Mary at 12 p.m. The game will be streamed on FloSports.
