DEDHAM, Mass. – Senior
Lexie Dunleavy scored a goal and added two assists to lead the Northeastern field hockey team (6-11, 3-3 CAA) as they defeated Hofstra (7-11, 1-5 CAA) 5-0 and clinched their position in the CAA Championships on Friday, Oct. 29 at Dedham Field.
- Dunleavy scored the Huskies' fifth goal of the game, tallying her third goal of the season .
- Junior Lauren Rowe (10) opened the scoring for Northeastern with a penalty corner goal in the first quarter. Rowe was assisted by graduate student Cadera Smith and redshirt senior Angela Connolly.
- Connolly recorded her second goal of the season with a deflection off a penalty corner shot from Dunleavy.
- Mak Graves (9) scored the Huskies' third and fourth goals of the game. On her second goal, Graves tipped in a shot from Dunleavy.
- Redshirt senior Erin Savage and senior Julia Gluyas combined for five saves.
The Northeastern field hockey team will be back in action on Sunday, Oct. 31 as they host Bryant on Senior Day at 1 p.m. The game will be streamed on
