DEDHAM, Mass. – Senior
Lexie Dunleavy scored back-to-back goals to lead the Northeastern field hockey team (6-11, 3-3 CAA) past Bryant (2-16, 2-5 NEC) 4-1 on Senior Day at Dedham Field.
- Freshman Lara Taylor deflected a penalty corner shot from junior Lauren Rowe to tie the game at 1-1 with less than two minutes left in the first quarter.
- Rowe gave the Huskies the go-ahead-goal off a penalty corner shot in the first two minutes of the third quarter. She was assisted by graduate student Cadera Smith and sophomore Sarah Coyle.
- Dunleavy earned two unassisted goals within the last five minutes of the third quarter.
- Sophomore Caroline Sweeney made her second defensive save of the season.
- Bryant scored their lone goal early in the second quarter.
The Northeastern field hockey team will be back in action on Friday, Nov. 5 as they take on James Madison in the CAA Championship Semifinals at Fred P. Rullo Stadium. The game will be streamed on
