Kurd Leads Huskies at the New England Championships

BOSTON – Freshman Cyrus Kurd finished with a personal-best time of 25:58.40 in the men's 8K race to lead the Northeastern men's cross country team at the New England Championships on Saturday at Franklin Park.Β 
  • The men's team placed 14thΒ overall out of 24 teams.
  • Freshman Noah Mooney ran the Huskies' second-best time (26:16.60) in his first 8K race of the season.Β 
  • Sophomore Daniel Caso finished with a career-best time of 27:11.80 in the 8K.
The Northeastern men's and women's cross country teams will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 15 at the Pre-National Invitational at Florida State University.
