Korczynski Earns All-Region Honors to Lead Huskies at NCAA Northeast Regionals

RESULTS

BOSTON – Senior Alexander Korczynski ran a time of 30:53 in the men's 10k race to earn All-Region honors and lead the Northeastern men's and women's cross country teams at the NCAA Northeast Regionals on Friday at Franklin Park.Β 
  • The women's team finished 17th overall with a score of 465 points. The men's team improved their ranking from 15th to 13th, finishing with a score of 396 points.
  • Sophomore Tessa McClain lead the women's team with a 6k time of 21:53.
  • McClainΒ was followed by sophomores Azza Borovicka-Swanson (22:10) and Ava Duggan (22:13).
  • In the first 10k race of his career, freshman Benjamin Godish finished as the men's second-best performer with a time of 32:18.Β 
  • Sophomore Patrick Cullen rounded out the top three performers on the men's side with a time 32:31.Β
