Devon Levi Named Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month

AMESBURY, Mass. — Northeastern sophomore goaltender Devon Levi was named Hockey East's Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month, announced by the conference office on Wednesday. Northeastern went 5-3-0 over the month of October with shutout wins over Bentley, Holy Cross, Colorado College and Maine.

Devon Levi:
  • Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec native.
  • This is his third Hockey East award this season.
  • Earned his NCAA-leading fourth shutout in just seven career games, making 32 saves against Maine (10/29).
  • Tied for third on the Northeastern leaderboard for shutouts in a season and tied for sixth on the all-time Northeastern leaderboard for shutouts in a career.
  • One more shutout would tie him for first in Northeastern history for shutouts in a season.
  • The last Northeastern goaltender to have four or more shutouts was Cayden Primeau, who finished with eight in his 70-game career. It took him 30 games to reach four, while Levi achieved the feat in seven games.
  • Has made 221 saves with a .940 save percentage in his first season.
