BOSTON — The Northeastern men's hockey team produced three 2025-26 New England Division I All-Stars as selected by the New England Hockey Writers Association (NEHWA), the organization announced Wednesday. Senior Vinny Borgesi and juniors Dylan Hryckowian and Lawton Zacher earned the honors for the Huskies.
Northeastern tied Dartmouth and UMass for the most New England All-Stars among all programs with three selections — the program's highest total since the 2021-22 season.
Borgesi recorded 20 points, including a career-matching five goals and 15 assists. A Walter Brown Award Semifinalist and Hockey East Second Team All-Star, the senior captain set career- and team-highs with 75 blocked shots while finishing his second straight season as the national leader in time on ice at 27:11 minutes per game.
Hryckowian, a Hockey East First Team All-Star, paced Northeastern in goals (15), assists (22) and points (37) for his third consecutive 30-point campaign. In Hockey East regular-season play, he ranked third in the conference in points-per-game (1.16), tied for fourth in points (22) and tied for fifth in assists (13).
Zacher, a Hockey East Second Team All-Star and 2026 Mike Richter Award Semifinalist, wrapped his junior season with a .929 save percentage and 922 saves — both ranking among the top 10 nationally. The netminder collected 15 wins and five shutouts on the year, with the latter total ranking second in the NCAA.
