Dominique Biron broke her own school record in the pentathlon with a first-place score of 3,943 points and junior
Kennedee Cox placed third with the ninth-best finish in school history (3,346 points, PB) at the URI Pentathlon on Friday at Mackal Field House.
- Biron won the high jump with a mark of 1.71 meters (5-7.25), the long jump with a mark of 5.74 meters (18-10) and the 800 meters with a time of 2:24.06.
- Cox took home first in the shot put with a personal-best mark of 12.35 meters (40-6.25) and finished sixth in the high jump (1.53m/5-0.25). She also ran a career-best time of 9.31 in the 60-meter hurdles.
The Huskies will be back in action on Saturday, Dec. 11 as they host the Joe Donahue Games at Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center.
