Solow and Harris Named Hockey East Second-Team All-Stars

WAKEFIELD, Mass. — No. 20 Northeastern's captain Zach Solow and assistant captain Jordan Harris were named Hockey East Second-Team All-Stars, announced by the league office on Friday. The Hobey Baker nominees and Walter Brown Award semifinalists (story) are both top point leaders for the Huskies this season. Solow (11-13-24) leads the team in goals and points, while Harris (6-13-19) and Solow are tied for the team lead in assists.

Solow recently hit the 100+ career points mark and is the 53rd Husky in Northeastern men's hockey history to accomplish this milestone. The forward leads Hockey East in power play points (2-11-13) and third in Hockey East in total points. The captain has been named a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award given out by Premier Sports Management (story).

The Montreal Canadiens draft pick Harris leads Hockey East in defenseman scoring (6-13-19) and is fourth in power play points (4-7-11). This is the second Hockey East award for the 5-foot-11 defenseman this season after receiving Hockey East Player of the Week (story) in December. Harris has at least one point in 11 out of his 18 games played, six of which are multi-point nights.

Northeastern takes on UMass in the quarterfinals of the Hockey East Tournament on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. inside Mullins Center. The game will be televised on NESN+ and heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub (HD2).
