DEDHAM, Mass. – Mak Graves scored her second goal of the season to lead Northeastern (1-5, 0-1 CAA) as they fell to Towson (2-2, 1-1 CAA) 3-1 in their CAA opener at Dedham Field on Saturday.
The Huskies were first to get on the board when Graves capitalized on a penalty corner early in the first quarter and was assisted by
Angela Connolly and
Maliea Kelso.
Lauren Rowe and Graves each registered two shots on goal on the day.
Erin Savage and
Sydney Rusnock combined for three saves in net on Towson's six shots on goal and three corners.
Towson's goals came from Georgia Beachley, Jenna Florenzo and Paige Reese with the final two occurring in the final minutes of the fourth quarter to give them the victory.
