Ian Fair went 3-for-4 with a double, home run and two runs batted in,
Jared Dupere blasted a home run for the third straight game, and
JP Olson finished 2-for-4 with a double and RBI to lead Northeastern (15-6) to a 12-5 win over Merrimack (12-15) on Tuesday at Friedman Diamond. The Huskies scored 12 unanswered runs, including nine combined runs in the fourth and fifth innings.

James Quinlivan (1-0) picked up his first collegiate win in relief, throwing 1.2 innings and striking out one. RHP
Brian Rodriguez tossed 2.0 strong innings, scattering two hits and fanned two.
Scott Holzwasser extended his on-base streak to 39 with a 1-for-2 performance, and was hit-by-a-pitch twice.
Dupere now has five home runs in his last six games for the Huskies, and a team-best eight on the season. He advanced his hitting streak to nine games with his 2-for-4 performance at the plate today.
Jeff Costello drove in the go-ahead runs for the Huskies in the fifth inning with a double to right-center field.
Trailing 5-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Huskies pushed four runs across courtesy of RBI singles by Olson and
Spenser Smith. Northeastern took the lead in the fifth inning with five more runs, highlighted by a two-strike double by Costello and a two-run opposite field home run by Fair to give the Huskies a 9-5 lead.
The Huskies added two more runs in the sixth inning and one more in the seventh inning to cruise to the seven-run victory over the Warriors. NU improves to 9-2 this season at home and have outscored its opponents 79-30.
Northeastern is scheduled to host Delaware for a four-game Colonial Athletic Association series this weekend, Friday-Sunday, at Friedman Diamond. The CAA battle will begin on Friday with a 2 p.m. first pitch and the game will be televised on NESN +.
