Jared Dupere smashed two home runs on consecutive at bats and drove in three runs, while right-handed pitcher
Sebastian Keane (3-1) tossed 6.0 innings, striking out seven to lead Northeastern (19-6, 7-0 CAA) to a 9-4 win over Delaware (8-14, 4-8 CAA) in Colonial Athletic Association baseball action on Saturday at Friedman Diamond. The Huskies defeated the Blue Hens 3-1 in game one behind
Cam Schlittler's (3-0) 7.0 strong innings, striking out seven, as Northeastern has won nine straight and are 15-1 over its last 16 games.
Corey DiLoreto finished 3-for-5 with a run scored and RBI,
Kyle Peterson went 3-for-4 with a RBI and a walk, and
Danny Crossen finished 2-for-5 with two RBIs to lead the Huskies offensively.
Max Viera returned for the first time in 12 games, getting a hit in his first at bat, but had to leave the game after being hit-by-a-pitch.

Henry Ennen tossed a perfect eighth inning and RHP
Rick Burroni threw a scoreless ninth for the Huskies out of the bullpen. The 7-0 start for Northeastern in CAA play is the best since they joined the league in 2005-06.
The Huskies wasted little time jumping in front of the Blue Hens, scoring three runs in the first inning and four more in the second inning. Dupere clobbered a two-run home run in the first and Crossen drove in a pair of runs in the second as Northeastern led 7-0 after two innings of play. UD's Jack Goan drove in all four runs in the game for the Blue Hens, including a three-run opposite field home run in the third inning.
Dupere homered again in the fourth inning, a solo blast over the bleachers in right field, and
Ryan Cervone singled up the middle in the seventh inning to plate the ninth and final run of the game for the Huskies. NU outhit Delaware 13-7 and committed just one error in the four-game sweep over the Blue Hens.
The Huskies will return to the diamond with a four-game series against Towson, Friday-Sunday, beginning with a 2 p.m. contest on Friday. All four games will be televised on NESN +.
