Northeastern's 14-0 start to CAA play is the best in league history, surpassing UNCW's 13-0 start in 2008 and James Madison's 13-0 start in 1998. The Huskies push their NCAA-leading winning streak to 16 and the 26-6 start to the season is the best in program history.

The Huskies used an eight-run second inning to bust the game wide open, highlighted by a grand slam from Costello and two-RBI single by Olson. The eight runs scored were the most in an inning by Northeastern since scoring eight in the fifth inning at Houston Baptist on Feb. 16, 2019, also winning that game 14-8.
