  • This is the ninth NCAA tournament for the Huskies
  • Northeastern is 6-17 all-time in the NCAA postseason
  • The last tournament win for the Huskies came in 1997
  • The Huskies are 6-20 vs. ranked teams under head coach Mike Glavine
    • Def. #17 Wake Forest this season, 14-11 (2/21/21)
  • The 36 wins ties a program record set in 2018
  • NU is making its second NCAA Regionals appearance in the last three years
  • The Red and Black are 6-1 this season against left-handed starting pitching
  • The Huskies are 28-3 when scoring first, scoring on a solo home run by Danny Crossen
  • Northeastern ranks third in the country with a .766 winning percentage, which currently ranks as the best in program history

    • .632 in 2018 – 36-21 (earned at-large bid to NCAA Regionals)

Sophomore Danny Crossen (3B)
  • Posted his first home run in the 2nd inning

Sophomore Jared Dupere (RF)
  • Drove in 2 runs for the Huskies
  • Finished 1-for-4 at the dish
  • Scored 2 runs
 
Junior Ian Fair (1B)
  • Improved his on-base streak to 26 games
  • Finished 2-for-4
  • Drove in 2 runs in the 8th inning
 
Freshman Sebastian Keane (RHP)
  • Left the mound with a 4-3 lead after 4.0 innings pitched
  • Retired the first 7 batters of the game
  • Threw 3.0 scoreless, before giving up 3-run home run in 4th inning
  • Struck out 4 and allowed 4 hits
 
Sophomore Ben Malgeri (CF)
  • Went 1-for-5 with a double
  • Threw a bullet to home plate to cut down a Nebraska runner in the 8th inning and keep it a 2-run game
 
Freshman Max Viera (2B)
  • Game-high 3 hits, with a double
  • Went 3-for-5 and drove in 2 runs
  • Scored 1 run
