AMHERST, Mass. – Junior Cailin Hart led Northeastern (0-1, 0-0 CAA) with four shots and two shots on goal as they fell to UMass Amherst (1-0, 0-0 A10) 3-0 on Friday at Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex.

• Redshirt seniors Julia Gluyas and Erin Savage each played a half in cage. Both goalkeepers finished with two saves.  
• The Huskies dominated UMass in penalty corners, 9-5.
• Senior Lexie Dunleavy finished 2-2 on shots on goal.
• Freshmen Maria Armaganian, Alana Fields and Kate Blaisdell made their collegiate debuts. 
• UMass gained a quick 2-0 lead in the first quarter and finished with a third goal in the last quarter of the game.  

The Huskies will travel to Monmouth to play the Hawks on Sunday at 11 a.m.
