Northeastern Falls to Michigan State

ATHENS, Ohio – Junior Lauren Rowe recorded eight shots and five shots on goal to lead the Northeastern field hockey team (0-3, 0-0 CAA) as they fell to Michigan State (3-0, 0-0 B1G) 3-0 on Friday at Pruitt Field.
  • The Huskies outshot the Trojans 20-12 and finished the game with a 15-10 lead in shots on goal.
  • Northeastern dominated Michigan State in penalty corners, 9-2.
  • Redshirt senior Erin Savage made a season-high six saves.
  • Sophomore Mak Graves registered three shots and two shots on goal.
  • Michigan State scored two goals in the second quarter and netted a third in the third quarter.
The Huskies will take on Ohio University on Saturday at 1 p.m.
