BOSTON— With all eyes of the rowing world on Boston, the Northeastern women's rowing team wrapped up a successful weekend at the annual Head of the Charles Regatta. The Huskies had four boats compete at the event.
The event features a three-mile course that hooks through Cambridge and features an elite field of the world's best collegiate and club programs.
- On Saturday, the Huskies kicked off the weekend competing in the Women's Club Fours classification. Stroked by Hannah Szych, the Huskies placed 23rd overall in a time of 19:21.990. Northeastern then competed in the Women's Club Eights division, with a boat stroked by Eleanor Loonam placing 21st overall in a time of 17:21.156.
- In the Women's Championship Fours division on Sunday, Northeastern raced to a 10th place finish, as Iris Cotrupi stroked NU to a time of 18:21.408.
- The Huskies completed their regatta with a top-15 finish in the Women's Championship Eights classification. With Victoria Thibeault in the stroke seat, Northeastern placed 15th with a time of 15:53.413.
Northeastern will close out its fall schedule at the Foot of the Charles on Saturday, Nov. 12.
