Men’s Rowing Closes Fall Season with Strong Performances at the Foot of the Charles

BOSTON – The Northeastern men's rowing team wrapped up a successful fall slate with strong performances at the Foot of the Charles on Friday morning. The Huskies had four eights racing in the event.
  • Stroked by graduate student Rhett Burns, Northeastern's first varsity boat finished second to Harvard with a time of 11:20.9. The Huskies were roughly 4.9 seconds behind the Crimson, and were 21 seconds ahead of Boston University.
  • Northeastern's lower boats also had strong performances and improved across the board since the Head of the Charles finish. The second varsity boat finished with a time of 11:52.3, while the third varsity finished with a time of 11:58.7, overcoming two Boston University boats that they were defeated by a few weeks ago.
