BOSTON – The Northeastern women's basketball team is set to continue non-conference play on the road at #6 UConn on Thursday, November 10. Tip-off is slated for 7 pm, and can be watched SNY.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- ERDOGAN SHINES IN HUSKY DEBUT: Junior guard Derin Erdogan had a stellar Husky debut in the team's season opener victory over Boston University on Monday. Erdogan, a transfer from Arizona, finished the contest with a career-high 24 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals. She also hit six of her seven final shot attempts, including three-of-four from beyond the arc.
- PAINT PARTY: In Northeastern's season opener, the Huskies tallied 26 points in the paint. Freshman forward Oralye Kiefer also made her presence felt underneath the basket with a team-high eight rebounds and seven points.
- SCOUTING UCONN: Ranked sixth in the nation to start this season, UConn finished the 2021-22 with a dominant 30-6 record and 16-1 in Big East play. The Huskies made it to the NCAA Championship game, and fell to #1 South Carolina by a score of 64-49. UConn averaged 73.8 points last season, and 38.6 rebounds per game.
After UConn, the Huskies will host Boston College in their home opener on Wednesday, November 16. Tip-off is slated for 11 am, and can be watched on NESN & FloHoops.
