Huskies Set to Close Non-Conference Slate at Stonehill

BOSTON – The Northeastern women's basketball team (4-6) is set to close non-conference action at Stonehill (3-8) on Tuesday, December 20. Tip-off is slated for 6 pm, and can be watched on NEC Front Row.
 
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
  1. LAST TIME OUT – The Huskies shot 64.4%, including 50% from three as Northeastern bested local rival Harvard on Monday, December 5 at the Cabot Center. Northeastern led the entire game, and made 29-of-45 shots, and outrebounded the Crimson 33-23. Sophomore guard Camille Clement (career-high 12 points), junior guard Derin Erdogan (21 points), sophomore guard Gemima Motema (15 points) and junior forward Deja Bristol (10 points) tallied double-digits in the victory.
  2. IN THE CAA RANKS – Motema ranks fifth in the CAA with a .464 field goal percentage, and Erdogan is eighth at .452. Motema also leads the conference in free throw percentage with 36 free throws on 40 attempts (.900). Erdogan, who leads the Huskies from long range, ranks eighth in the CAA, averaging 1.9 three-point field goals per game.
  3. SCOUTING STONEHILL – The Skyhawks enter the contest with a 3-8 record, and are coming off a tough 47-46 loss to UAlbany on Wednesday. Stonehill averages 54.5 points per game, and are led by guard Emily Bramanti, who averages 12.8 points per game. Bramanti erupted for a career-high 38 points against Bryant, posting the highest single-game point total in the NEC since November 13, 2019.
 The Huskies will begin CAA play at Monmouth on December 30.  Tip-off is slated for 3 pm, and can be watched on FloHoops.
