BOSTON – The Northeastern University baseball team has added one game in Fort Meyers, Florida next Friday, February 25 at 1 p.m.
 
The Huskies, slated originally to play the Boston Red Sox at JetBlue Park, will now take on the University of Minnesota Gophers at Hammond Stadium in Fort Meyers. The Gophers were also slated to face an MLB team in exhibition, the Minnesota Twins.
 
The game with Minnesota will kick off a weekend trip to Florida that has the Huskies also facing off with Marshall in a doubleheader Saturday and Merrimack the following Sunday, in the annual Snowbird Classic.
 
The Huskies continue their opening weekend of play after a 5-3 season-opening loss to LIU yesterday afternoon. Northeastern will take on future CAA foe Monmouth this afternoon, Saturday February 19, in a double header starting at 1 p.m. The Huskies wrap up the weekend with the host school Penn State on Sunday morning at 10 a.m.
