Huskies Earn Eight NU Top 10 Finishes at the BU Last Chance Meet

RESULTS

BOSTON –
 Sophomore Tessa McClain break her own school record in the mile with a career-best time of 4:43.87 and graduate student Dametrius O'Connor placed third in the men's 200 meter with the second-best indoor time in school history (21.44) to lead the Northeastern track and field teams on Sunday at the Boston University Last Chance Meet.
  • In the women's 800 meters, senior Lucinda Shotts finished 11th with the sixth-best indoor time in school history (2:11.77, PB) and freshman Nicole Dunbury finished in 14th place with a personal-best time of 2:13.47.
  • Freshman Reed Cherry won the men's 800 meters (1:48.67). Senior Alexander Korczynski finished sixth in the event with the seventh-best indoor time in program history (1:49.93, PB) and junior Nicholas Young finished 15th with the 10th best indoor time in NU history (1:50.81, PB).  
  • In the women's long jump, junior Dominique Biron placed second with the fifth-best indoor mark in NU history (5.93m/19-5.50, PB), senior Jillian Lombardi earned third place with a mark of 5.51 meters (18-1) and graduate student Khailah Griffin finished fourth (5.51m/18-1). 
  • Graduate student Donatien Djero won the men's 60 meter (6.83) and ran the fourth-best indoor time in the men's 200 meter (21.46). Junior Noah Sweeney placed third in the men's 60 meter (7.00). 
  • Freshman Ethan Exilhomme placed second in the men's 60-meter hurdles (8.11) and senior Mayowa Osunsami followed behind with a third-place time of 8.29. On the women's side, senior Michelle Nkoudou placed third with a time of 8.69.
  • In the women's mile, sophomore Abigail Hassman ran the fifth-best indoor time in program history (4:52.19, PB) and sophomore Ava Duggan finished 15th in the event with a time of 4:56.23. 
  • Sophomore Trinity Cardillo threw a third-place distance of 16.13 meters (52-11) in the women's weight throw. 
  • Freshman Paul Wisnaskas placed second in the men's high jump with a personal-best mark of 1.90 meters (6-2.75).
  • The women's 4x400 meter relay team, comprised of junior Khamil Evans, freshman Claire Danyluk, sophomore Mariah Fede and Biron, ran a third-place time of 3:50.14.
