ELON, N.C. – The Northeastern track and field team closed out day two and earned a total of 14 medals, including four golds, at the 2026 CAA Outdoor Championships. The men's team finished second with 155 points, while the women placed eighth with 41 points.
Combined Events
- Freshman Carter Engelman captured the CAA decathlon title, totaling 6,224 points across the 10-event competition. Engelman also won the long jump and pole vault within the decathlon.
Field Events
- Senior Mia Belanger cleared 1.66m in the high jump.
- In the shot put, senior Leila Curtis placed ninth with a mark of 13.85m, while junior Catherine Sargent followed in 10th at 13.81m.
- Freshman Aiden Ray placed ninth in the triple jump with a leap of 14.30m.
- Freshman Logan Alfandari recorded a throw of 14.76m in the men's shot put.
- Freshman Ogechi Nathan finished ninth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.70m.
Track Events
- In the men's 4x100m relay, the quartet of Michael Stroup, Brunner Williams, Alex Landry, and Raymond Felton III earned silver in 39.84.
- Senior Patrick Cantlon won the men's 1,500m in 3:47.06. Junior Ryan Sarney took bronze in 3:48.56, and sophomore Jack Mattingly placed fourth in 3:49.62.
- Junior Savannah Blair earned bronze in the women's 100m in 11.69, while junior Victoria Knight finished fifth in 11.95.
- Sophomore Taeshawn Berry claimed bronze in the men's 100m with a time of 10.72, and Williams placed fourth in 10.75.
- In the women's 200m, Blair earned a silver medal with her sprint of 23.59.
- Williams sprinted to silver in the men's 200m in 20.87, while Berry earned his second bronze medal of the day in 21.16.
- Senior Conall Rogers placed fourth in the men's 800m, clocking 1:52.54.
- Graduate student Ryan Slaney rounded out the meet with silver in the men's 5,000m, finishing in 14:48.80.
Looking ahead, several Huskies will await selection to the NCAA East First Round, which will take place in Lexington, Kentucky from May 27–30.
