McClain Leads Huskies on Final Day of Competition at the Carolina Spring Break Classic

RESULTS

San Juan, PUERTO RICO –
 Tessa McClain won the women's 800 meters with the seventh-best outdoor time in program history (2:11.90, PB) to lead the Northeastern track and field teams on the final day of competition at the Carolina Spring Break Classic.
  • In the men's 100-meter dash, Donatien Djero placed second with a time of 10.57. Dametrius O'Connor finished 10th out of 27 athletes with a time of 10.83.
  • Kaitlyn Cavallaro threw a distance of 36.88 meters (121-0) to finish fifth in the women's javelin throw.
  • Dominique Biron placed third in the women's 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.63.
  • In the women's 1,500 meters, the Huskies finished in fifth and sixth place. Lucinda Shotts took fifth with a personal-best time of 4:49.41 and Madison Neuner finished sixth with a personal-best time of 4:50.39.
