Northeastern Completes Day One of Sunshine Invitational

SARASOTA, Fla.— The first varsity eight and varsity four each qualified for the grand final, as the Northeastern women's rowing team opened up competition at the Sunshine Invitational in Nathan Benderson Park.

The first varsity eight, earned a spot in the grand final after placing second in heat one with a time of 6:32.70.
Northeastern's varsity four placed fourth in their heat, but claimed a spot in the grand final with a time of 7:29.21.
The Huskies' second varsity eight qualified for the petite final after placing fourth in their heat with a time of 6:52.71.

The Huskies will start the final day of the Sunshine Invitational with the first varsity eight racing at 8:10 a.m., followed by the second varsity eight at 8:40 a.m. and the varsity four going at 10 a.m.
