RICHMOND, Va. — Northeastern's varsity eight earned CAA Boat of the Week honors Wednesday, as announced by the conference office. It marks the program's first weekly award from the CAA this season.
The Huskies posted a 6:50.00 against No. 9 Virginia and No. 12 Syracuse and a 6:39.10 against No. 3 Yale at the Doc Hosea Invitational to open the spring season.
The Northeastern crew featured Isabella Hsia (cox), Ava Sjogren (stroke), Heather Taylor (7), Grace Theobald (6), Sophia Wolfenberg (5), Hannah Boone (4), Julia Halbreich (3), Esther Littlefield (2) and Stina Dewes (bow).
Northeastern returns to action Saturday, April 4Â on the Charles River against Boston University.
