Dominique Biron broke her own school record in the heptathlon for the second time this season with a second place and career-best finish of 5,473 points to lead the Northeastern track and field teams on Saturday at the Virginia Challenge.
Biron won the shot put (11.61m/38-1.25), javelin throw (37.17m/121-11) and the 800 meters (2:18.96). She placed third in the high jump (1.70m/5-7) and the 100-meter hurdles with the 10th best time in school history (14.29, PB).
- Mayowa Osunsami finished 11th in the 110-meter hurdles (14.46) and 21st in the 400-meter hurdles (55.44).
- In the women's 800 meters, Ava Duggan finished with a time of 2:14.28 and Tessa McClain recorded a time of 2:15.43.
- In the men's 800 meters, Tyler Brogan finished 29th with a time of 1:52.38 and Nicholas Young ran a time of 1:57.29.
