Duggan and Korczynski Record NU Top 10 Performances at UMass

RESULTS

AMHERST, Mass. – Ava Duggan placed third in the women's 1,500 meters with the third-best outdoor time in school history (4:30.43, PB) and Alexander Korczynski won the men's 1,500 meters with the ninth-best outdoor time in program history (3:47.30, PB) to lead the Northeastern track and field teams on Saturday at the UMass Outdoor Invitational.

In the 1,500 meters, Azza Borovicka-Swanson finished seventh for the women with a personal-best time of 4:37.97 and Kyle Sarney finished seventh for the men (3:51.55).
Reed Cherry placed second in the men's 800 meters with a time of 1:51.64. Tyler Brogan placed fourth (1:52.01) in the event and Bryan Keller came in ninth (1:54.82).
In the women's 800 meters, Lucinda Shotts finished fifth (2:13.95) and Lauren Trejo finished seventh (2:17.43).
In the 4x400 meter relays, the men's team, comprised of Nicholas Young, Anders Narita, Daniel Caso and Brogan, finished fourth with a time of 3:24.10. The women's team, comprised of Shotts, Trejo, Sarah Petersen and Nicole Dunbury, took home fourth as well with a time of 4:02.24.
