Huskies Send All Crews to C/D Semifinals at NCAA Regatta

SARASOTA, Fla.— Competing during the first of three days at the 2022 NCAA Rowing Championships on Friday at Nathan Benderson Park, the Northeastern women's rowing team advanced all three crews into Saturday morning's C/D semifinal races after heats and afternoon repechages.
 
OPENING HEATS
  • The Huskies' first varsity, stroked by Charlotte Kershaw, placed fifth in their heat, crossing the finish line in a time of 6:40.32.
  • The second varsity, stroked by Peri Mishkin, finished in a time of 6:55.00 to place sixth overall in heat three.
  • With the last race of the morning for Northeastern, the varsity four placed sixth in their heat with a time of 7:42.00.
REPECHAGES
  • Northeastern's 1V placed sixth in a time of 6:35.83 in the repechage.
  • The second varsity crossed the finish line in a time of 6:52.88 to place sixth in their race.
  • With the final race of the day, the varsity four, stroked by Vicky Budike, finished with a time of 7:39.26 to place sixth in their heat.
