Northeastern Wraps Up Day Two at NCAA Regatta

SARASOTA, Fla.— Returning to Nathan Benderson Park on Saturday for the second of three days at the 2022 NCAA Rowing Championships, the Northeastern women's rowing team placed all three of its boats into the D finals on Sunday.
  • After a weather delay pushed back the start of racing by an hour, the Huskies' first varsity finally hit the course at 9:12 a.m. Northeastern placed fifth, crossing the finish line in a time of 6:35.18.
  • The second varsity placed fifth in their heat, with a time of 7:05.46, besting Jacksonville by just under five seconds.
  • Following another weather delay after lightning was spotted in the area, the varsity four didn't race until 12 p.m. Northeastern once again beat Jacksonville, placing fourth in their heat with a time of 7:50.30.
