RICHMOND, Va. - After his performance this weekend at Hofstra, redshirt-junior
Corey DiLoreto has been named the CAA Player of the Week.

- In Friday's weekend opener in Hempstead, N.Y., DiLoreto was a triple shy of the cycle as he led off with a home run, then hit two doubles and a single. He went 4-for-5 in game one as the Huskies defeated the Pride 13-1.
- In Sunday's double header, he started off game one with a run scored after being hit by a pitch, and game two with a single, putting him on base in all three games on the weekend.
- DiLoreto is Northeastern's first CAA player of the week of the season - the last Husky Player of the Week was Jeff Costello on May 24th of the 2021 season, just ahead of the CAA Tournament.
DiLoreto and the Huskies will face No. 8/13 UConn this Tuesday in a midweek matchup in Storrs, Conn. Northeastern returns home for their final CAA home series, hosting UNCW on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, May 13-15.
