Huskies Wrap Competition At Flagship Invite

BOSTON, Mass. – Ethan Exilhomme ran a 7.76 in the 60-meter hurdles to set a new school record and claim a first-place finish, leading the Northeastern track and field teams on Saturday at the 2023 University of Massachusetts Flagship Indoor Invitational.
 
Women:
  • In the early stages of the day, Gianna Rao took first place in the women's weight throw with a throw of 20.17m.
  • Lucinda Shotts finished fifth in the 500m with a time of 1:17.02. The time was a career best for Shotts.
  • Sarah Petersen placed fifth in the 1000m run with a time of 2:56.54.
  • Ariann Robinson finished in the top five in the 200m, securing the fifth-place with a 25.23.
  • Nora Blodgett came in third with a 5:09.13 in the one-mile run.
  • Dominique Biron claimed second in the long jump with a mark of 5.83m.
  • In the 3000m run, Vivian McMahon ran a 10:01.73 to finish in fourth.
Men:
  • In back-to-back races, Jessie Legister, in the 400m, and Pierre Sylvain, in the 500m, posted fifth-place finishes with times of 49.72 and 1:05.44, respectively.
  • Max Zuckerman placed fifth with a 4.45m mark in the pole vault.
  • Anders Narita claimed fourth in the 800m with a time of 1:54.66.
  • In the 1000m, the Huskies took places 4-5 with Patrick Mullen (2:29.49) and Kyle Sarney with a 2:29.98 time for his personal best.
  • In the 200m dash, Exilhomme finished second with a time of 21.73, a personal best.
  • Malav Mehta raced to a time of 4:17.64 in the one mile for a fourth-place finish.
  • Phillips Magre finished fifth in the high jump at 1.91m.
  • In the 4x400 relay, Legister, Magre, Exilhomme and Sylvain place fourth, running a 3:19.11.
 
The Huskies continue their season next weekend at the Battle in Beantown on Jan. 21.
