Levi Earns Consecutive Goaltender Of The Week Honor

AMESBURY, Mass. — For the back-to-back weeks, junior Devon Levi of the Northeastern men's hockey team was named the Stop It Goaltending Goaltender of the Week. The Buffalo Sabres prospect has now been named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Week six times in his career and three times this season.

With 70 saves in two games, Levi completed a weekend sweep over #11 Merrimack for this 12th win of the season. In the Huskies 5-1 victory on Friday night, he recorded 33 saves and stopped all five of the Warriors power-play opportunities. On Saturday night's 1-0 win, Levi made 37 saves for his fourth shutout of the season, which leads all of Hockey East.

The Quebec native now leads the conference in wins (10), minutes played (907:58), saves (471), save percentage (.950) and ranks second in goal against average (1.65).

Levi and the Huskies will rest up this weekend before hosting the Boston College Eagles on Tuesday, Jan. 31 for the fourth matchup this season between the two programs.
