Women’s Rowing Unveils 2023 Spring Schedule

BOSTON— Joe Wilhelm, head coach of the Northeastern women's rowing team, has announced the 2023 spring schedule for the Huskies. The slate features two races on the Charles River and six races overall.
 
Northeastern is coming off an eighth-straight CAA Championship and NCAA appearance in 2022. This season, the Huskies are led by captains, Iris Cotrupi and Charlotte Kershaw. The Huskies are looking to build off a strong fall performance that saw Northeastern compete in three races. Northeastern's fall was highlighted by a first-place finish from the first varsity eight at the Foot of the Charles, beating out Radcliffe, Boston University and Boston College. 
 
The Huskies will kick off their spring schedule at the Doc Hosea Invitational on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J. on Saturday, April 1. The Huskies will continue on in New Jersey against Columbia for the Woodbury Cup in Overpeck Park in Ridgefield on Saturday, April 8.
 
Northeastern will then compete in back-to-back races at home on the Charles. The Huskies will face Boston University for the Council Cup on Saturday, April 15 and will then take on Notre Dame on Sunday, April 16.
 
Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. Is up next on Sunday, April 30. Northeastern will then look to defend its CAA Title on Friday, May 12 in Saratoga, N.Y.
