THREE THINGS TO KNOW:

The award marks Whitehead's first weekly award from the league, as well as the first honor for the Huskies this year. The freshman recorded his first career shutout with 13 save while starting in his first career NCAA game. The last Husky to do so was reigning Mike Richter winner, Devon Levi, who recorded his first career shutout (4-0) against
- POINT HOUNDS:Â Graduate-student Liam Walsh and sophomore Cam Lund are continuing to add to their point streaks that rounded out the end of last season. Walsh has now recorded five points through his last four games in the Husky uniform, while Lund is pushing strong with three points in his last three games played. Additionally, senior Gunnarwolfe Fontaine and juniors Matt Choupani and Justin Hryckowian bring over big numbers from the 2022-23 campaign. Fontaine has tallied four points in his last five games, Choupani has recorded five points in six games and Hryckowian is a point per game with six points in his last six outings.
- STARTIN' STRONG:Â Northeastern's first- and second line combined for 19 of the Huskies 21 points in last weekend's contest against Stonehill. The top line finished with nine points from three goals and six assists, while the second line totaled ten points from three goals and seven assists. Starting off the season, the Huskies went 3-for-3 on the penalty kill against Stonehill. During the 2022-23 season, Northeastern was 12-5-0 when their opponents were scoreless on the power play.
