Women’s Rowing Concludes Head of the Charles Weekend

BOSTON, Mass. -- The Northeastern women's rowing team concluded another eventful weekend at the annual Head of the Charles Regatta. The Huskies had four boats compete at the event.
 
The event features a three-mile course that travels through Cambridge and features an elite field of the world's best collegiate and club programs.
  • On Saturday, the Huskies began the weekend with two boats competing in the Women's Club classifications. Stroked by Esther Littlefield, the Huskies placed 12th overall in the Women's Club Fours with a time of 18:46.263. Northeastern wrapped up day one in the Women's Club Eights division, with a boat stroked by Alice Brashers, placing 19th overall in a time of 17:26.102.
  • On the final day of the event, in the Women's Championship Fours division, Northeastern raced to a 18th place finish, as Grace Theobald stroked NU to a time of 19:43.060.
  • The Huskies concluded competition at the regatta with a 24th overall finish in the Women's Championship Eights classification. With Heather Taylor in the stroke seat, Northeastern clocked a time of 17:28.383.
Northeastern will race in their final competition of the fall schedule at the Foot of the Charles on Saturday, Nov. 11.
