Huskies Set To Close Non Conference Slate At Home Against Boston University

BOSTON – The Northeastern women's basketball team (4-5) will look to close out its non conference slate on a high note when the Huskies host rival Boston University (7-3) on Friday afternoon. Tip-off from the Cabot Center is slated for noon on FloHoops and NESN.

The game is also a part of FloSports' Live-To-Social initiative, and fans can watch on the FloHoops Youtube channel, Twitter/X account, and Facebook page free of charge.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW
  1. LAST TIME OUT – Derin Erdogan tallied a team-high 12 points, but the Holy Cross Crusaders used a big second half to take down the Huskies, 65-41, on Sunday afternoon. Holy Cross shot 52.9% in the fourth quarter, and were led by Bronagh Power-Cassidy who had a game-high 24 points on 10-of-19 shooting.
  2. THE SERIES AGAINST THE TERRIERS – The two teams first played against each other in 1976. The Terriers told a slim edge in the all-time series at 41-39. The Huskies have won the last two matchups, highlighted by a 66-65 win in 2022. The contest marked Erdogan's first game as a Husky, and the Istanbul, Turkey native was stellar with 24 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
  3. HOME SWEET HOME – The Huskies are returning home to the Cabot Center after four straight games on the road. Northeastern boasts a perfect 3-0 record at home this season, highlighted by a 63-46 win over Wagner on November 21.
The Huskies will begin CAA play at home against Delaware on Friday, January 5. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
