BOSTON - Northeastern University goaltender
Devon Levi has made it to the next round of the Hobey Baker Award selections, being named a Top 10 finalist on Wednesday afternoon.
- Levi has been the backbone for Northeastern this season - his final Hockey East numbers ended with a 14-6-3 record, 753 saves (league-high) and 42 goals allowed (.947 save%, 1.81 GAA; both league-highs). Additionally, he posted a conference-high six shutout.
- His overall numbers finished with a .933 save% (1st in NCAA), 1183 saves (3rd in NCAA), six shutouts and a 2.24 GAA, which includes his 54 save effort against Providence College.
- Devon was the recipient of the 2023 Hockey East Player of the Year award, the Hockey East Goaltender of the Year, and is a First Team All-Star. He was also named a finalist for the 2023 Mike Richter award.
- Levi won his six Hockey East regular season honors, as a five-time Goaltender of the Week and Goaltender of the Month in February.
- Devon has also notched his name in the Northeastern record books: his 16 career shutouts set the Northeastern record, passing former goaltender Chris Rawlings (2010-13). Levi also holds the single-season shutout record for Northeastern (6).
- Additionally, Levi still sits as the NCAA's active career leader with a .942 save percentage.
