ORLANDO, Fla. – The Northeastern track and field program finished up the first weekend of competition in the outdoor season at the UCF Black and Gold Invite at Central Florida's Soccer and Track Complex in Orlando, Fla.
The Huskies enjoyed six top-ten finishes on the second day of action, with
Ethan Exilhomme finishing first in the 110m hurdles and setting a Northeastern school record with a time of 13.71.
Women:
- Starting off the day in the hammer throw, Gianna Rao finished sixth with a mark of 53.66m. Following behind was Liangie Calderon (52.29m), Isabella Wiklund (50.86m) and Trinity Cardillo (48.96m).
- Dominique Biron finished third in the high jump at 1.73m, tying the fourth best mark in Northeastern history. Mia Belanger (1.63m) and Kennedee Cox (1.58m) finished behind.
- Biron competed in the 100m hurdles, finishing ninth with a personal-best time of 14.06. Anna Davis came in at 14.96 and Cox at 15.43.
- Ariann Robinson led the way in the 400m with a time of 57.11, followed by Davis at 57.74.
- Competing in the 1600m relay was Davis, Cox, Biron, and Robinson who finished at 3:51.17 in tenth place.
Men:
Northeastern will return to action for the Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State from Mar. 23-25 in Raleigh, N.C.
