RICHMOND, Va. – Tramaine Shaw, head coach of the Northeastern track and field program, was named the CAA Men's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year, the league announced today as part of their indoor year-end honors.
This is the conference's first year handing out year-end awards after the indoor season, and Shaw is the first ever to be named CAA Men's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year.
- Shaw led the Huskies to a title with a first-place finish in the inaugural CAA Championships in February.
- She guided Northeastern to a total of 11 medals across the two-day championships with six gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals.
- Shaw adds to her resume of four straight CAA outdoor coach of the year honors from 2018-2022.
The Huskies are in action at the Aztec Invitational and Raleigh Relays this weekend.
