BOSTON, Mass. — The Northeastern men's and women's track and field teams prepare for the start of their 2025-26 season, beginning with the URI Pentathlon on Thursday, Dec. 4 and the URI Heptathlon spanning over two days, Dec. 4 and 5 at the Mackal Field House. The Huskies will also participate in the HBCU & Ivy Challenge hosted by Harvard on Friday, Dec. 5 at the Gordon Indoor Track. Finally, Northeastern rounds out the weekend at the BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the BU Track and Tennis Center.
- LOOKING BACK – The Huskies had a successful 2024-25 indoor season, highlighted by Ben Godish earning the CAA Indoor Men's Track Athlete of the Meet at the CAA Championships. During the season, Godish broke the school record for the 3000m with a time of 7:51.52. Multiple other returning athletes broke school records last season including, Savannah Blair in the 200m, Camryn Cole in the High Jump, and Brunner Williams in the 200m.
- ON THE ROAD TO RHODY, HARVARD AND BU – The Huskies begin the weekend in Kingston, R.I., where Camryn Cole, Elena Olson and Jaice Dorsey will compete in the 30th Annual Pentathlon and Carter Engelman will tackle the demanding two-day heptathlon at Rhode Island's Mackal Field House. On Friday, Northeastern brings one of its largest contingents to Harvard's Gordon Indoor Track for the HBCU & Ivy Challenge, with 15 women and 14 men set to face off against Harvard, Dartmouth, Howard and Delaware State. The weekend concludes Saturday at the BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, where six Northeastern men will compete at the BU Track and Tennis Center.
- HOME FOR THE CAAs – This season, Northeastern will host the 2026 Indoor Track and Field CAA Championships. The two-day competition will be held from Sunday, Feb. 22 to Monday, Feb. 23 at The TRACK at New Balance.
Northeastern will resume the Indoor schedule in the new year at the Harvard Beantown Challenge Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 17.
