CHERRY HILL, N.J.— In its first action of the spring season, the Northeastern women's rowing program raced at the Doc Hosea Invitational on Saturday morning on the Cooper River.

The second varsity kicked things off for the Huskies, placing third with a time of 6:50.70.
The first varsity eight stroked by Victoria Thibeault crossed the finish line in a time of 6:44.87, placing third.
The first varsity four stroked by Peri Mishkin had a time of 7:55.08 to finish in third place. The second varsity four posted a time of 8:20.26 to place fourth.
Northeastern's third varsity eight finished in second place with a time of 7:04.19, just under two seconds behind first place Penn. The fourth varsity eight placed first with a time 7:14.29.

Northeastern will next travel to Columbia to compete for the Woodbury Cup on Saturday, April 8.
